Establishing Forum of Shanghai Manufacturing Promotioncenter assembled manufacturing creative Summit was held in ShanghaiInternational Industrial Design Center.

In the meeting, Mr. Chen Xianglin , president ofShanghai City Federation of economic organizations introduced establishing  process of the Shanghai Manufacturing Promotioncenter; Mr. Xiao Guiyu ,Deputy Secretary General of the Shanghai city hall and officedirector of leading group for improvement of Shanghai cultural and creativeindustries , announced establishment of Shanghai city industry and creativepromotion center; President Mr. Jiang Yiren, director Mr. Dai Haibo, otherleadership unveiled the banner; Baoshan District mayor Wang Hongzhi made a speech;Shanghai City Federation of economic organizations, SAIC Group, Huayi Group,Shanghai International Industrial Design Center Management Co., Ltd., ShanghaiTextile Science Research Institute, Shanghai Horse Industry Design Co. Ltd,  and Sohui(Shanghai) design consulting company totallyseven units signed a "strategic cooperation agreement"; Mr.JiangYiren a member of the CPPCC Standing Committee and Shanghai Economic FederationChairman gave award to the well-known international design master LuigiColani and Mr. Ruan Xueyu ,academician of Chinese Academy ofEngineering ,

At the forum, president Jiang Yiren made akeynote speech titled "Development of manufacturing industry and creativeindustry”. Professor Ruan Xueyu of Shanghai Jiao Tong Universitymade a speech titled "digital manufacturing technology and plastic formingtechnology"; The famous international design master Luigi Kolani made speechtitled "Design to create manufacturing industry new life"; ProfessorYu Suihuai of Northwestern Polytechnical University college gave a speechtitled "design of major equipment products”; Former directorof the Shanghai Intellectual Property Office Qian Yongming made a speech titled"core competitiveness in creative manufacturing -- intellectualproperty".

The formal establishment of ShanghaiManufacturing Promotion center will further promote the change from  "manufacturing" to"create", improve core competitiveness, bring new vitality to themanufacturing industry , combined with the city resources, cultural advantages,industry characteristics of Shanghai.
